Happy New Year Greetings Everyone...

As we say goodbye to 2010, I want to wish everyone a Happy and Prosperous 2011.  I also want to thank everyone for all of the wonderful emails we have received through the comments section on this web site.  Please continue to share your Miss Bonnie's  Recipes & Stories with us.   For those that have emailed from states where Miss Bonnie's Cheese Spreads are not available yet, the Miss Bonnie's online store is under construction offering direct ordering through our web site.   I hope everyone will include Miss Bonnie's as part of your New Years Celebrations & Gatherings.  We are also very excited to announce that Miss Bonnie's is now available at Kroger in Nashville, and addtional Kroger locations in Central Tennessee.   Here are some Appetizer Serving Tips I hope you will enjoy ~ Miss Bonnie

"Miss Bonnie's Tailgating/Party/Football Snack Yummy Tray"

Below is a photo of different serving pairings we sampled at a recent Food Show.  The Deli Wraps & Stuffed Peppadews were a Big Big Hit!  So get out your grocery list.  I have used corn beef (pictured here), pastrami, roast beef, various types of ham, and smoked turkey for the Deli Wraps.  The Stuffed Peppadews are always a favorite at tasting events.  Veggies • Sliced Baguettes • Crackers... Be Creative with your Miss Bonnie's Tailgating/Party/Watching Football Yummy Snack Trays.

Here's how I do the Deli Wraps:

1•Spread Miss Bonnie's Cheese Down The Center Of A Slice Of Deli
2•Roll Up Tight Pushing Any Cheese Back Into Ends
3•Position Round Toothpicks So Slices Will Give You about a 1 inch Bite Size Piece
4•Slice With A Sharp Knife

Tailgate/Party/Snack Like A Pro With Miss Bonnie's Deli Wraps

Peppadews are spicy (not hot) bite size peppers that are available at most Giant, Kroger, and Martin's Olive Bars in the deli.  Stuffed with Miss Bonnie's, they are Double Yummy!!!

"Miss Bonnie's Cheesey Dippped Cocktail Meatballs"

Swedish, Italian, Homemade or Store Bought, Meatballs are always a party or get together favorite.  The Meatballs in this photo are Store Brand Swedish Style.  These are great party meatballs, and can be heated in the oven or microwave.  Need a Fondue Cheese?  Miss Bonnie's Gourmet Cheese Spreads evolve into another realm of yummy when melted in a Fondue Pot or Warming Dish.  I used small butter warmers here.  I melted the Pimento, Jalapeño, or Miss Bonnie's Classic Cheddar Spread in the microwave first.  Once melted, fill your fondue pot or warming dish to maintain consistency for dipping.  Alternate Method:  Warm your Cocktail Meatballs in the microwave, then melt your Miss Bonnie's Cheese in the microwave (stiring occasionally while it melts), then combine the warm meatballs and warm cheese together in a crock pot or slow cooker to keep warm.  We have served "Miss Bonnie's Cheesey Dipped Meatballs" at many product demonstrations.  So many  shoppers always ask where the to find the Meatballs, we loose count.

"Lite-Fresh Veggies & Miss Bonnie's"

Now that warmer weather has arrived for most of us, many are thinking Lite.  I love watching the expressions on people's faces, and how positive they react when they taste Miss Bonnie's on Fruits & Veggies.  Let me tell you, Miss Bonnie's on a slice of English Cucumber is about as Lite and Fresh (not to mention refreshing) as it gets.  You have to try a Miss Bonnie's Lite and Fresh Veggie Tray for your New Years parties & gatherings. I used Miss Bonnie's New Classic Cheddar for this shot.  It didn't last long after we finished taking this photo.  Sliced Cucumbers, Carrot Chips, Celery, and the list goes on....Enjoy!

"Fruit Pairings With Miss Bonnie's"

I introduced Miss Bonnie's to the attendees at the First Annual Virginia Wine Expo in February 2008.  We set up a tray with sliced apples.  We had no idea what a huge hit Miss Bonnie's with fruit would be.  Europeans have been eating fruit with cheese forever.  In this photo I sprinkled a little cinnamon and sugar on the apples.

• Sliced Apples • Sliced Pears • Kiwi & Mango • Peaches • Pineapple

* For a Spicy Kick to fill that empty spot between meals, by all means try my Jalapeño Spread with Fruit.  You will be pleasantly surprised.  Wonderful with wine.

Olive Bar Party Tray

Putting together a Party Tray using Miss Bonnie's is like Christmas morning.  What do I do next?  So many choices, plenty of time.  I used baguettes in this photo.  Toasted (Toaster Oven) Miss Bonnie's Cheese baguettes are a Double Yum Yum.  Crackers are always yummy and easy.  When I shop for Party Tray goodies, its like stocking stuffer shopping.  Check the cheese island in the Giant, Kroger, and Martin's deli where you'll find Miss Bonnie's Cheese.  There are lots of prepackaged ready to eat meats and summer sausage perfect for slicing.  Don't forget the Olive Bar in the Giant, Kroger, and Martin's deli.  The bowl in the photo is filled with salad peppers, sun dried tomatoes, roasted red peppers, marinated mushrooms, and green and black marinated olives.  All from the Olive Bar.

Appetizers

All I can say about crafting Appetizer's with Miss Bonnie's Cheese Spreads is, let your imagination go wild.  Miss Bonnie's Stuffed Mushroom have become a big hit with many of you on our Update List.  I am including Chef John's recipe for new visitors to my web site.  This one is fast and easy to prepare.  Wonderful anytime, but especially sensational if your having friends or family over.

Miss Bonnie's Stuffed Mushrooms

Recipe:  1. Remove the stems from the fresh mushrooms.
               2. Bring a pot of water to a boil.
               3. Boil the mushroom caps for about 4 to 5 minutes for medium and large caps.
               4. Drain in collander and rinse with cold water to stop them from cooking.

               5. Dry your mushroom caps on a paper towel
               6. Soften (just melted) some Miss Bonnie's (we like the Jalapeño for this one) in a glass bowl
in the microwave.  The Pimento & Classic Cheddar are also yummy. What the heck..Try all 3 flavors..
               7. Fill the caps with the the melted cheese (see attached photo)

               8. Sprinkle each cap with seasoned bread crumbs (be liberal to make them crunchy on top)
               9. Bake in oven or toaster oven at 350 degrees F for 20 to 25 minutes until brown on top
             10. Enjoy !

This really is an easy recipe that only takes about 10 minutes before baking once your water boils.  If you like mushrooms, your gonna love them baked with Miss Bonnie's.  We also tried this....Brown some crumbled sausage or ground meat of choice (season as you like) and fill the caps half way with the sausage, and top off with Miss Bonnie's.  Takes a little longer, but worth the extra time.

         Wraps

St_Wraps3.jpg

There are so many fun, delicious, and easy recipes using Miss Bonnie's with your Wrap creations.  Meat lovers and veggie lovers rejoice.  Miss Bonnie's adds a bold creamy flavor to your wraps.  Easy and fast are the operative words in preparing Wraps.  For this photo I used a Multi-Grain Tortilla Wrap,  and a Garden Spinach & Vegetable Tortilla Wrap. The filling for this was so easy.  Pastrami (Your Favorite Brand), Miss Bonnie's Pimento Cheese, Romain Lettuce, and Shredded Carrots.  Roll it up tight, slice to preferred length,  then add a Bowl of salsa and some tortilla chips....Note the salsa in the bowl.  This is Fresh Salsa which you can find in the produce section in most stores.  You can actually drain the liquid from the salsa and add a little salsa to your wrap.  So delicious, and so much fun putting Wraps together.  Children are usually crazy about Miss Bonnie's Cheese and Wraps.  They also love to be involved in preparing their Miss Bonnie's Wraps.  For those that have never made a Wrap....Some suggestions....

• Any type of Deli (For Meat Lovers)• Lettuce or Bagged Salad Mixes • Diced Tomato • Cucumber Strips • Carrot Strips • Sprouts • Scallions • Mushrooms •

• Of Course Miss Bonnie's Pimento,Jalapeño, or Classice Cheddar Cheese Spread • The List Is Endless • ENJOY!!
